Rowe & Newberry, Inc. began business as a partnership in 1949 and incorporated in 1960.

We are primarily engaged in commercial and industrial construction of banks, schools, nursing homes, churches, apartments, condominiums, stores and more. We also perform custom residential construction of large-scale homes as well as retrofitting and remodeling older structures. One notable structure we have retrofitted and remodeled is McNulty Station in downtown St. Petersburg. We make sure that for every project we engage in, the finished product is a premiere quality structure of which the community can be proud.

When doing design and build projects, we assign a management team to handle the client's specific needs. These project managers work directly with the clients and involve the superintendents in the process in order to coordinate as well as execute the work in a timely and cost effective manner. Using our teams' long-term expertise, we will create a quality product for each client. In some cases, we have partnered with architectural and engineering firms to work directly with the client, in order to reduce construction schedules and for budget control.

We are a general contracting firm that believes community involvement should be more than just business relations. To that end, we have helped with local organizations. We help in sponsoring local charitable events, notably the Pinellas Association for Retarded Children (PARC) Golf Tournament. Aside from our community involvement, our other business associations, such as credit and banking, are based locally as well.
